The Keck School of Medicine of USC is proud to announce that as of Dec. 1, 2019, Joseph Ouzounian, MD, MBA, has assumed the permanent position of chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ouzounian had been serving as interim chair since Nov. 1, 2018.

Keck Medicine patients gain access to a new service through Apple

For years, patients of Keck Medicine have used the Apple Health app to track daily health information such as heart rate, activity, nutrition, sleep habits and more. Recently, Keck Medicine and other health care systems collaborated with Apple to launch Health Records, which lets patients easily access their medical information on their phone.

In 2018, USC launched a three-year hybrid online/on-campus doctor of physical therapy (DPT) program. At the end of 2019, students are showing excellent results in terms of retention, skill-building, teamwork and more.
