USC appoints Winston Crisp as new head of Student Affairs

Veteran university administrator Winston B. Crisp has been named USC vice president for student affairs, USC President Carol L. Folt announced this week. An expert in student development, Crisp formerly served as vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will join USC on Aug. 16.

CHLA announces $50 million gift from Anderson Stewart Family Foundation

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), an affiliate of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, has announced that the Anderson Stewart Family Foundation has made a $50 million gift to the institution. This comes shortly after an anonymous $25 million gift meant to expand neurological, interventional radiology resources was announced in mid-July.
